on a roll.

I'm not going to lie and tell you that introducing new ways to do things with technology is the easiest thing in the world.  It's not.
But, I am going to tell you that incorporating technology into the lessons we already do well is one of the most engaging strategy and tool a teacher has.

Things are usually done and redone, and at times, it may appear that Mrs. Murdock has lost all patience, but truly, I haven't.  Each app we have takes some "learning" time, and so far, that learning time has been successful.  Not perfect, but definitely successful!

Yesterday was the first "Monday folder."  I hope it was informing and enlightening as to what we do in Room 1, and gave you the opportunity to give your child a high-five and some praise!  Be looking for great things to come home, but also know that a lot of our hands-on learning stays right in the classroom.  If you'd ever like to see what your child is working on or creating, please stop by.  We'd love for you to have a chance to see us in action!

Thank you for doing your part at home by making sure your child is clean, rested, and prepared for the day!  We're targeting "responsibility" a lot in the classroom already, and this class has proven to me that they are very responsible in all they do!  Agendas have been signed nightly, homework is complete, and we've earned nothing but "5's" in music so far!

Here's to a great start to a year worth cheering about ~
